How many templates do google sites have?

For this release, we have created 10 templates for common use of the site, available in 16 languages. You can then customize the site to be your own. For the launch of the site template, Google released nine templates in 16 languages. Each template has a specific purpose with a professional look.

The new Google Sites offers 6 basic themes right now, and classic Google Sites sites had many more, but classic sites are coming to an end. Google Sites offers only nine base templates with names such as “Portfolio”, Team, and “Project”, names that point to the limited intent of the platform. So, you can be a professional or a first-time developer, your work with Google Sites will go smoothly every time.

A Google site template is like a pre-built website with its design, layout, and content already set up; however, you may want to easily edit how it looks based on your needs. We don't have any free Google Sites sites right now, but keep checking it out because no one knows what the future holds. We invite you to a copy of the Google Sites template that you can duplicate as a Google site of your own, which you can then use. However, if you want to create a fully functional website to establish your company's online presence, Google Sites won't be enough.
